How long does the migration take?
The entire process usually takes between 2 and 4 hours. This includes copying files, database, SSL configuration, and functional verification. Once confirmed that everything works correctly, we proceed to change the DNS. Throughout the process, your website continues to function normally on the previous server.
Will I have downtime during the migration?
No. We keep your website running on the original server while we configure everything on the new one. The DNS change is practically instantaneous thanks to Cloudflare. There is no moment when your website is inaccessible to your visitors.
What do I need to start the migration?
You just need to provide us access to your current hosting: cPanel credentials, SFTP access, or a complete backup of files and database. We will also need access to your domain's DNS panel (or the registrar's credentials) for the final change. All information is treated with the utmost confidentiality.
Do you migrate any type of website?
We migrated WordPress, WooCommerce, PrestaShop, static sites and most CMS in PHP. For Node.js, Python, or special configurations, contact us first to assess feasibility. In most cases, we can migrate any website that works on standard hosting.
What happens if something goes wrong?
Before any changes, we make a complete backup of your site. If something does not work as it should, we can revert to the previous state in minutes. Additionally, we check everything on the new server before changing the DNS, so issues are detected and resolved before they affect your public website.
Can I migrate even if my website has problems?
Yes, in fact it is a good opportunity. If your website has performance issues, malware or errorsDuring the migration, we can diagnose and solve many of them. We inform you of any problems found and give you options to resolve it before or after the migration.
Do you also migrate the email?
Yes. If you use email accounts linked to the hosting, we migrated the email electronic including all existing messages. We set up the MX records correctly so you don't lose any email during the transition. If you use external services (Gmail Workspace, Microsoft 365), we simply keep the current configuration.
